From the highly anticipated Avatar: Fire and Ash to the survival-meets-satire chaos of Anaconda, audiences have plenty to look forward to. Holiday cheer and redemption take centre stage in Christmas Karma, while horror fans can return to the eerie world of animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Here’s what’s coming to theatres this December.Avatar: Fire and Ash          Release date: December 15, 2025Jake Sully and Neytiri's story continues after the events of The Way of Water. While they are coming to terms with Neteyam's demise, the Na'vi tribe called the Ash People, led by their leader Varang. Now the Ash people form an alliance with Jake's enemy, Colonel Quaritch.Anaconda               Release date: December 25, 2025The horror-comedy explores the life of two people, Doug and Griff. Interestingly, they attempt to remake their favourite '90s movie, Anaconda, in the Amazon rainforest. What comes after is a fight for survival. To make matters worse, a giant anaconda makes an appearance and begins hunting the cast and the crew.Christmas Karma          Release date: December 12, 2025Kunal Nayyar's Ishaan Sood is a middle-aged, grumpy fan, who does not believe in Christmas, holidays or taking a break. However, upon the death of his business partner Marley, Sood realises the importance of enjoying life and making the most out of good relationships.Five Nights at Freddy’s 2          Release date: December 5, 2025A year after the horrifying events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, former night guard Mike continues hiding the truth from his 11-year-old sister, Abby, about what really happened to the animatronics she once considered her friends. But when Abby secretly returns to the abandoned pizzeria in hopes of seeing Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy again, her actions trigger a new wave of terror.
